St. Croix Custom Fabrication, founded in 1991, is a custom metal fabrication job shop.

We specialize in laser cutting, plasma cutting, and forming of sheet and plate. Laser capacity is 5′ x 10′ plasma is 6′ x 20′. Sawcutting of items up to 16″ square. We are experts in welding all three materials with MIG or TIG processes. We prep weldments for paint by using steel grit blasting. This process recycles steel grit and does not use sand as the blast media.

We also prime and paint on site. Our blast and paint rooms are 16′ W x 16′ H x 40′ L. We do some assembly and packaging. We also do local deliveries on our 12′ and 20′ flatbed trucks. We have 2 loading docks for shipping and receiving from semi trailers.

Fabrication

Our highly skilled craftsmen are well versed in all aspects of sheet plate and structural steel fabrication.

With our complete line of fabrication equipment including laser cutting, plasma cutting, forming up to 12′ in length, sawing up to 16″ square. Rolling up to 1/4″ thick x 8′ length. We have the ability to take on jobs ranging from prototypes, to production runs as well as the capacity to manufacture larger items, such as hoppers with offset transitions, pressure manifolds, and tube frames.

A first piece part inspection assures parts are made correctly and within tolerance per the customer’s requestion.

Plasma Cutting

SCCF offers CNC Plasma cutting of sheet and plate up to 2″ thick, 6′ wide, and 20′ long. Plasma cutting is an efficient process for cutting thicker plate material.

Laser Cutting

St. Croix Custom Fabrication, Inc. offers complete laser cutting services. Laser cutting is an efficient option for small to large quantities and irregular shaped parts, eliminates costly tooling charges and provides a quick turnaround.

Our Trumpf 2600W laser, controlled by precise programming technology ensures we have the ability to satisfy your +/- .005 tolerance requirements. It has a 60″ by 120″ sheet capability and with the automatic dual pallet loading system we ensure quick turnaround on your cutting application.

We can process materials, such as:

Hastelloy — 1/16″ to 1/4″
Stainless Steel (SST) — 1/32″ to 1/4″
Aluminum — 1/32″ to 1/8″
Carbon Steel — 1/32″ to 1/2″

Welding

With over 15 years of experience in the industry, St. Croix Custom Fabrication, Inc. can satisfy your welding needs.

Between our dedicated welding staff and our multiple welding stations, we have the capabilities of rapid prototyping while maintaining extensive production runs to accommodate our customers’ needs.

All of our welders are experienced in FCAW, GMAW, and GTAW welding processes. Certification can be provided if required.

We have the capability to perform welding on the following materials:

Carbon steel – From 1/16″ up to 1″
Stainless – From 1/16″ up to 1/2″
Aluminum – From 1/16″ up to 1/2″
